The Palm Jebel Ali is the second of the Palm trilogy to be completed. Anchoring the development of the western coast of Dubai, the Palm Jebel Ali is poised to be a benchmark for the quality of design and compliance with green building criteria for the region. Precinct #4, the tallest part of the spine, is envisioned as a mixed use retail, community and residential hub. The site covers five distinct building plots totaling approximately 8.5 Ha.
This design concept relates to the figurative land form of the Palm Jebel Ali by referring to the same theme at a smaller scale, and aims to evoke the same sense of serenity and ease that comes with the image of a desert oasis and palm groves of the Gulf. The theme is addressed at an abstract level in the form of the towers, the integrated design of the podium and landscaping.
